Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information InsightsQ Analytics ("we", "us") collects through insightsq.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have tried to keep it short and plain.

Who we are

InsightsQ Analytics is a data analytics consultancy. You can reach us at info@insightsq.com.

What we collect

When you send us a message. If you use the contact form we collect your name, email address and message. You may also give us your phone number, your organisation and the service you are interested in. We also record whether you ticked the consent box, the time of your message and the page you sent it from.

Spam protection. To block automated abuse we store a one-way hashed version of your IP address and the country your request came from. We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is sending the message.

Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request details (such as browser type and the page requested) in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

When you book a call. If you book through Calendly, Calendly collects the details you enter there. Their privacy policy applies to that information.

Email. If you email or phone us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and look back on it.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell personal information.

Why we use it

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to talk to you about working together, and to keep our records. We use the technical data to keep the site secure and working. Where the law requires a basis for this, it is your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in running a secure website and responding to business enquiries.

Who handles it for us

We use a small number of service providers to run the site:

  • Cloudflare, for hosting, the database that stores enquiries, and spam protection
  • Resend, for sending the notification email that tells us a message has arrived
  • Calendly, for booking calls, if you choose to use it

These providers may process data on servers outside India. They act on our instructions and have their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we start working together, in which case we keep the records needed for that work and for our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@insightsq.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

This policy is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind, and we aim to respect equivalent rights for visitors elsewhere.

Security

We take sensible steps to protect information, including encrypted connections, restricted access to the enquiry database and a private access key for anyone who views it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

Children

This site is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Cookies

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymous information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit and the links you click. Google acts as our processor for this. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time. Details are in our cookie policy.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top of this page.
